Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to OSHA standards
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification
- Experience with dental assisting procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics preferred
- Familiarity with dental software such as Cleardent is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Basic understanding of CAD technology used in digital imaging and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks
