Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Math and English Teacher familiar with the OSSD curriculum (English and Mathematics) to deliver in-person lessons. We are also looking for one Math, one Business and one Mandarin Teacher for our online teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about language instruction and committed to helping students succeed academically and culturally.
Duties
- Teach relevant courses in alignment with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) curriculum.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote language proficiency, cultural understanding, and student engagement.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure the curriculum aligns with OSSD standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, English, Business, Mandarin or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification recognized in Ontario (OCT preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the OSSD curriculum and instruction.
- Previous experience teaching Related Subjects, especially at the high school level.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.
