Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Intermediate IT Tech to join our technology support team. This role provides essential technical assistance to users, maintains IT infrastructure, and ensures smooth operation of computer systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in operating systems, computer networking, and help desk support, with excellent communication skills to effectively resolve technical issues and deliver exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Provide technical support for computers, servers, infrastructure, running on all operating systems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including software conflicts, hardware failures, and connectivity problems
- Assist users with network access including LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure such as servers, switches, routers, and firewall
- Support computer hardware installation, upgrades, and repairs
- Configure and troubleshoot network components including LAN connections and firewall settings
- Maintain documentation of support activities and system configurations
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- Ensure security protocols are followed to protect organizational data
Experience
- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a focus on desktop support and network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, and firewall management
- Experience supporting software applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools
- Understanding of hardware components including computers, servers, switches, routers, and peripherals
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer service-oriented approach
- Critical reasoning and team orientated skills.

Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
