Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Crew member to join our team and assist with maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes. This role involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, gardening, and irrigation systems, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality at our driving range. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about outdoor work.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming, pruning, mowing, and planting
- Maintain gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal
- Assist with general maintenance tasks including debris removal, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control
- Support the setup and breakdown of outdoor event spaces as needed
- Follow safety protocols when operating equipment and handling chemicals or fertilizers
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Prior experience in horticulture, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, welding and landscape maintenance practices is a plus
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
