The Role:
On behalf of our private client, a warm active two-mom family, we are seeking an experienced, caring, and highly organized Nanny and Household Assistant. This person will play an important role in assisting the family in keeping their home running smoothly. The primary focus is caring for a 9-month-old while supporting a 6-year-old child and assisting with household management during nap times and other available periods throughout the day.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:30/7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Guaranteed minimum of 34.5 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be someone dependable, communicative, and self-directed - a person our client can build lasting trust with. If you enjoy working with children, take pride in maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-cared-for home, and appreciate routines and building them as well as honest, respectful communication, this role may be a good fit for you. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide attentive, loving care for an infant, including feeding, diapering, naps, daily routines, and developmental support.
· Plan and support age-appropriate activities, play, outings, and developmental milestones.
· Drive children to activities and assist with errands using the family's vehicle when required.
· Support feeding, naps, routines, outings, and age-appropriate activities.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-cared-for home.
· Maintain open, proactive communication with parents regarding routines, milestones, and the children's well-being.
· Laundry, dishes, light housekeeping, and household organization.
· Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children and occasional family meals.
· Manage household supplies and run errands as needed.
Qualifications:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, we are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and qualities:
· Minimum 7 years of professional childcare experience, including infants.
· Current Infant CPR and First Aid certification.
· Valid driver's license and confident driving skills.
· Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally.
· Legally eligible to work in Canada.
· Criminal record check and driver's abstract required.
· Baby-led weaning experience considered an asset.
· Additional language skills are a bonus.
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
