About the Role
The Niagara Falls Convention Centre is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events & Exhibitor Services Manager to join our Events team.
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of events from post-sale through to completion while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and exhibitors. You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional event experiences while driving revenue through exhibitor services and ancillary offerings.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced position ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys client interaction, and has a strong eye for detail.
What You’ll Do
Event Planning & Execution
- Manage events from contract handoff to on-site execution and close-out
- Develop planning timelines and ensure all event requirements are delivered
- Coordinate with internal departments including operations, food & beverage, security, and housekeeping
- Oversee on-site event setup, exhibitor needs, and overall guest experience
Exhibitor Services & Client Relations
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and exhibitors
- Manage exhibitor orders including electrical, telecommunications, and booth services
- Review and coordinate floor plans, booth layouts, and technical requirements
- Ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and service excellence
Revenue Generation
- Promote and sell value-added services, including exhibitor services and food & beverage
- Identify upsell opportunities to enhance client and exhibitor experiences
Administration & Systems
- Input and manage event details using Momentus or similar event management systems
- Coordinate order processing, payments, and internal communication
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and service enhancements
What You Bring
Experience & Education
- Diploma in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in event coordination or convention services
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or convention centre environments required
- Familiarity with Momentus or similar event management software is an asset
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
