ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Electricians to join our Lloydminster team. In this hands-on role, you will lead electrical installations, service calls, and commissioning across industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential projects. You hold a valid Red Seal certification (or equivalent) and bring 3–5 years of field experience. You thrive in fast-paced job sites, relish troubleshooting complex systems, and take pride in mentoring apprentices.
As a Electrician at Harris Electric, you will:
- Interpret & Install: Read blueprints, single-line diagrams, and load calculations. Bend conduit, pull cable, terminate panels, and wire lighting, power, and control systems to CSA and AHJ standards.
- Lead & Mentor: Direct 1st– and 2nd-year apprentices as well as Electrical Contractor Students. Run daily toolbox talks, reinforce safety protocols, and ensure every team member meets Harris Electric’s high standards.
- Service & Troubleshoot: Respond to service calls on industrial motors, commercial lighting retrofits, agricultural equipment, and residential panels. Diagnose faults, recommend scope adjustments, and implement corrective actions.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce our “Safety-First” culture. Conduct hazard assessments, ensure correct lock-out/tag-out procedures, and confirm PPE usage. Verify all installations are neat, organized, and code compliant.
