Compensation: $24–$38/hour depending on experience, certifications, and skill level
Overtime: Paid after applicable provincial thresholds

We specialize in residential, retrofit, commercial, and new construction projects with a strong focus on workmanship, safety, building science, and customer experience.
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Spray Foam Insulation Technician to support daily spray foam operations and grow with the company long term.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, construction environments, learning skilled trades, and being part of a small but ambitious team.
Training available for motivated candidates with construction or labour experience.
Key Responsibilities: Spray Foam Installation Support
- Assist certified spray foam installers during residential and commercial projects
- Prepare job sites before installation including masking, covering, taping, and material setup
- Help with hose handling, foam application support, trimming, scraping, and cleanup
- Assist with equipment startup, shutdown, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Monitor work areas for cleanliness, overspray control, and safety compliance
- Support installation of both open-cell and closed-cell spray foam systems
- Assist with attic, basement, crawlspace, rim joist, garage, wall, and roof insulation projects
Site Preparation & Cleanup
- Load and unload materials, tools, hoses, and equipment
- Maintain organized and clean work vehicles and trailers
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and maintain professional jobsite appearance
- Ensure protection of client property before, during, and after installations
Health & Safety
- Follow all Ontario health and safety regulations and company safety procedures
- Properly use PPE including respirators, coveralls, gloves, and eye protection
- Assist with ventilation setup and safe chemical handling procedures
- Participate in toolbox talks and site hazard assessments
- Maintain awareness of confined spaces, ladders, fall protection, and ventilation requirements
Quality & Customer Experience
- Maintain attention to detail and consistency during installations
- Support achievement of insulation thickness and coverage requirements
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, contractors, and team members
- Represent SprayZo professionally on all job sites
Equipment & Maintenance
- Clean and maintain spray foam guns, hoses, transfer pumps, and tools
- Assist with inventory management and material tracking
- Identify equipment issues early and report maintenance needs
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous insulation, spray foam, construction, roofing, drywall, painting, HVAC, or general labor experience is an asset
- Experience with spray polyurethane foam (SPF) installation is highly preferred
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work in varying temperatures and environments
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working at heights, in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Punctual and safety-focused
- Valid G-class driver's license preferred
- Own transportation is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends during peak season
- Ability to travel across the GTA and nearby regions for projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Working at Heights certification
- WHMIS certification
- Respirator fit testing
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience with construction tools and jobsite practices
- Experience towing trailers is an asset
- CUFCA-related spray foam experience or training is an asset
