Overall Scope of Work
- To relocate 808 Servers and 170 desk tops from Colonnade Road to 500 Pallidum
- NATTIQ will remove the equipment from the racking and place onto computer carts.
- Once the servers are out of the server racks, the rails that the equipment sat on will be removed.
- The cage nuts will remain, however the screw will be bagged and brought to the new location.
- The equipment will be wrapped in blankets in the carts and the carts will be shrunk wrapped before being placed on the trucks.
- The carts will be delivered to the loading dock and walked to the elevator (700 feet away).
- Rails will be reinstalled into the new server racks by NATTIQ.
- The equipment will be unwrapped and placed in the correct server rack on the reinstalled rails by NATTIQ under the direction of the client.
- Once emptied, the carts will be returned to origin and the process repeated till complete,.
- The new server racks will have the cage nuts in place prior to our arrival. New cage nuts to be supplied by the Client and installed by NATTIQ.
The Tasks for the IT Technician
· IT technician (with Supervisory capability) to act as a project support asset.
· Primary role will be to oversee the NATTIQ installers during the server removal process and ensure the hardware is safely removed and placed onto computer carts for transport at origin, then placed on new server lab racks at destination.
· They will work closely with and under the direction supervision of the client and will support NATTIQ lead on-site installers
· Key Responsibilities:
o Origin Support: Oversee server removal and safe loading onto computer carts.
o Destination Support: Oversee the correct physical placement of servers in the new racks.
o Quality Control: Ensure proper slide rails, cage nuts, and layout mapping are executed precisely according to the client’s rack layouts.
