Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. This role requires strong time management, food safety awareness, and cash handling skills to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and specifications
- Take orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS and process transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and creating positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable by local regulations)
