Job Overview
We are looking for hard-working Experienced Concrete Forming Carpenters who take pride in their work to join our growing team.
Our crews build high quality residential and commercial concrete foundations including foundation walls, feature walls and slabs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Layout & Build Concrete Footings & Walls
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for project specifications
- Conduct carpentry tasks related to formwork and structural support
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around the job site
- Work with crew to maintain production schedule
Skills
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
- Knowledge of masonry, restoration, renovation, and flooring installation processes
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards
- Good physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members on complex projects
