Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end.
- Support food preparation and food handling activities, ensuring all items meet food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and basic food prep tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with excellent customer service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
