Ground Crew
Glawson Piling is expanding to hire a full-time Ground Crew in our new Winnipeg location.
Glawson Piling is a growing company that believes in doing things the right way and having excellent customer service for our customers.
The helical pile industry is taking off in Manitoba as the product is being more sought out in both residential and custom build projects. We would love to have you join our team and continue to grow this business!
Our Ground Crew personnel will:
- Make sure that the helical piles are going in level and maintain accurate placement
- Load the tools, piles, and caps in a safe and secure manner.
- Be on your feet for extended periods of time, constantly moving
- Be comfortable working with levels, drills, portable power tools
- Maintain good communication with the Pile Installer
- Be adaptable, problem solving and open to ideas
- Commit to safety and operate in a safe manner
- Verify underground markings and watches for overhead power lines, structures
- Make sure the site is left in a clean manner, excess materials are removed and verify that we have all tools and equipment to bring back.
Our Ground Crew members must:
- Be able to lift 75 pounds on a repetitive basis, team lift
- Have a Class 5 license, a class 3 is beneficial
- Must be able to work in rain and snow conditions
- Must be able to work longer days

- Start at $18 / hr and up depending on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
