We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Assist customers by explaining services and providing recommendations for tire care and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Adhere to safety protocols during all procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep detailed records of services performed on each vehicle
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for tire handling
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
- Basic sales skills for recommending additional services or products to customers
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
