Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote recovery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, management, and home exercise programs
- Document patient interactions accurately in medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices through ongoing professional development
Skills
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with acute care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient needs
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient conditions
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification as a Registered Physiotherapist in accordance with regional licensing requirements
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
