Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various locations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Assist in warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- 2 years highway experience
- Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to operate trucks of various sizes and handle complex logistical tasks efficiently
