Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in New Glasgow for a full time position. This vital role involves supporting our oral surgery specialist and ensuring excellent patient experiences. Located in New Glasgow, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative environment. No evenings or weekends. Monday to Friday 7:45-4:45.
Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
- Educate patients about pre- and post-surgical instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless patient care.
- Support administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and follow-up.
- Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Proven experience in patient care within a medical or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
