Commercial HVAC Journeyman – Service / Installation

Evergreen Climate Solutions is looking to add an experienced Commercial HVAC Journeyman to our team. This position is suited for a technician who can work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and take ownership of service calls and installations.
We focus primarily on commercial service, maintenance, retrofits, and equipment replacements, with minimal residential work and very little new construction.
What we’re looking for
- HVAC Journeyman Technician
- Red Seal Certified with Class “B” Gas Ticket (some exceptions considered)
- Strong commercial service and/or installation background
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs independently
- Professional communication with customers and suppliers
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Comfortable participating in on‑call rotation
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Willingness to work out of town when required (not often)
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Assets (not required but valued)
- VRF systems
- Boilers, chillers, cooling towers
- Steam boiler or pipefitting experience
- Class “A” Gas Ticket
- Experience mentoring apprentices
What we work on
- RTUs, WSHPs, MUAs, VRFs, Mini‑Splits
- Fan coils, air handlers, heat pumps, condensing units
- Warehouse unit heaters, tube heaters, radiant heaters
- Gas & hydronic boilers
- Cooling towers & chillers
- Primarily commercial service, maintenance, and retrofits
- Occasional TI projects
- Very limited residential work

Pay: $76.62-$86.78 per hour
