Position Summary
ESSNA™ is seeking an experienced Industrial IoT Telemetry Integration Specialist to support the deployment and configuration of cloud-based telemetry infrastructure associated with heavy-duty industrial and fleet environments.
The role is focused on the integration, structuring, validation, and export of live CAN and J1939 telemetry data streams into the ESSNA™ AEMS™ analytics environment for downstream operational analytics, reporting, modelling, and industrial deployment applications.
This is a specialized industrial telemetry integration engagement and is not a general web development, app development, or IT support role.
The successful candidate will support the development of scalable and repeatable telemetry deployment architecture suitable for fleet-scale industrial rollout across multiple assets and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and commission industrial telemetry devices within cloud-based telemetry infrastructure environments
- Validate incoming CAN and J1939 telemetry data against expected parameter IDs, signal integrity, and operational performance
- Structure scalable telemetry environments including:
- Device hierarchy
- Naming conventions
- Data organization
- User permissions
- Fleet grouping structures
- Configure export workflows including:
- API integrations
- Automated CSV export systems
- Scheduled reporting mechanisms
- Optional MQTT integration capability
- Support telemetry data integration into the ESSNA™ AEMS™ analytics platform
- Document deployment procedures and integration workflows to support repeatable fleet deployment
- Assist with troubleshooting telemetry reliability, cloud synchronization, and data consistency issues
- Support scalable industrial telemetry architecture development for future deployment expansion

- Familiarity with industrial telemetry export workflows and structured data environments
- Strong understanding of telemetry data validation and signal integrity concepts
- Ability to work independently in a remote technical deployment environment
- Experience documenting technical deployment and integration procedures
Preferred
- Experience with heavy-duty fleet environments or off-highway equipment
- Experience integrating telemetry into industrial analytics or reporting platforms
- Familiarity with API integrations and industrial data pipelines
- Exposure to industrial energy, transportation, mining, oil & gas, or mobile equipment sectors
- Experience scaling telemetry systems across multiple deployed assets

Pay: $20.00-$60.00 per hour
