We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping clients recover from injury, overcome barriers, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, healthcare providers, insurers, employers, and community partners to coordinate and facilitate rehabilitation services, develop treatment plans, and support clients throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client interviews and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Coordinate treatment services and community supports.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, employers, and legal representatives.
- Monitor client progress and adjust recommendations as required.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports, treatment plans, and correspondence.
- Attend case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Advocate for clients and facilitate access to appropriate resources and services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Health Sciences
- Kinesiology
- Psychology
- Nursing
- Rehabilitation Sciences
- Social Sciences
- Or another related medical or health-related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience in rehabilitation, healthcare, disability management, case management, occupational rehabilitation, insurance, or community health settings.
- Knowledge of motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, disability management, and return-to-work planning.
- Professional designation or eligibility for registration with a relevant professional college or association.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
