Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, and carpentry. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise, physical strength, and attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and following schematics to ensure high-quality workmanship. This position is essential for delivering successful project outcomes and maintaining safety standards on-site.
Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration work with precision
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely to assist with large-scale construction tasks
- Conduct welding and woodworking tasks as required for project completion
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install materials
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding or formwork systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining a safe work environment
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete finishing, or general contracting
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly desirable
- Experience operating heavy equipment and power tools required for various construction tasks
- Knowledge of siding installation, restoration techniques, and woodworking preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) consistently throughout the workday
- Prior experience working with concrete forming or welding is a plus
- Construction experience demonstrating versatility across multiple trades will be highly valued
