Job Overview
We are a small family business who services the property management industry. we primarily work on townhouse complexes and commercial buildings across the GTA with sites in Vaughan, Mississauga and Scarborough . The majority of our work is at ground level requiring kneeling as well as some scaffolding. The work includes brick replacement, through wall flashing, parging concrete repair/ refinishing & caulking. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking lead hand to join our masonry restoration team. This role involves assisting with various building projects, including masonry, restoration, and general construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality projects. Must have a Vehicle to get to sites.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform construction and renovation tasks
- Support masonry work, including mixing mortar, laying bricks or stones, and related activities
- Perform restoration tasks such as caulking, sealing, and surface preparation for various building components
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support team members in executing project plans according to specifications and timelines
Experience
- Prior experience with masonry restoration projects is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, masonry techniques, and schematics is advantageous
- Experience operating heavy equipment or working on restoration projects is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to assist in project planning and execution
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn new skills related to construction, masonry, restoration, and equipment operation

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
