We are seeking a reliable and professional Truck Driver specializing in Sprinter vans to join our logistics team. Duties
- Safely operate a Sprinter van for local deliveries and pickups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Assist with moving goods within warehouses or distribution centers, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition before each shift
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposes
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally during interactions with clients
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and warehouse procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with Sprinter vans or similar vehicles
- Strong moving skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
- Warehouse experience including knowledge of inventory handling and storage procedures
- Forklift operation skills are a plus for loading/unloading cargo efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout shifts
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes
