Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a strong focus on patient education, preventive care, and collaboration with the dental team to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and answering questions regarding their dental care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient office operations.
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting required.
- Familiarity with Tracker, iTero and Invisalign are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
