Summary:
We are a reputable cleaning company operating in Ottawa, Canada, seeking residential cleaners.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning tasks as assigned, ensuring high-quality and efficient service delivery.
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, and other fixtures.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.
- Handle and dispose of waste, adhering to proper recycling and waste management guidelines.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to achieve desired results while following safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during cleaning operations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold excellent customer service standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or related fields is mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and adjust to changing schedules as needed.
- A valid driver's license is desirable but not mandatory as job sites are within Ottawa.
- Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
Note: Please be aware that we have part-time positions, with the potential of other on-call shifts. Despite the variance in working hours, we offer a competitive pay rate of $18 - 20 per hour.
