Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Groomer Assistant to support our professional grooming team. This role involves assisting with the grooming process, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for pets, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. The ideal candidate is passionate about animals, eager to learn, and capable of handling physical tasks associated with grooming assistance.
Duties
- Assist groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs according to grooming specifications
- Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas
- Help with loading and unloading pets from grooming stations and cages
- Support with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or animals as needed
- Provide friendly customer service by interacting professionally with pet owners and answering basic questions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of animals throughout the grooming process
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for staff and pets

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
