Join a professional, locally respected team at Lakeside Paving. We are currently hiring an experienced Asphalt Rakerman to join our paving crew for the full 2026 season (April–November).
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled asphalt professional who takes pride in producing clean, high-quality finishes and wants steady, local work with a reputable company.
All of our projects are local to Kelowna and surrounding areas — no out-of-town travel. You’re home every night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rake, lute, and finish hot mix asphalt to proper grade and smoothness
- Match joints and edges to ensure seamless finishes
- Assist with prep work, grading, and job site clean-up
- Operate skid steer and small equipment (plate tamper, roller, cut-off saw)
- Maintain a safe and productive job site
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years experience as an Asphalt Rakerman/Luteman
- Strong skills in hand raking, grading, and finishing
- Ability to maintain proper depth and slope control
- Skid steer experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or trailer endorsement is an asset)
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in outdoor conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
