About Covert Security Solutions
Covert Security Solutions is a growing leader in residential and commercial security integration, providing
installation, service, monitoring, and technical support solutions across British Columbia and beyond.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and client-focused Installation & Service Coordinator to join our
Operations team on a Temporary Full-Time Contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced
service environment and enjoys coordinating technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects
moving efficiently.
This position plays a critical role in supporting field operations, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring
projects and service calls execute on time and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatch
● Coordinate daily installation, service, and maintenance schedules
● Assign technicians and subcontractors based on scope, location, and priority
● Manage service calls, project timelines, and labour allocation
● Adjust schedules in real time based on urgent client requirements and field updates
● Maintain accurate calendars, work orders, and dispatch notes
Client & Vendor Coordination
● Act as the main point of contact for clients during active work
● Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials
● Communicate site readiness, changes, and service updates to all stakeholders
● Escalate urgent operational issues to leadership as required
Documentation & Administration
● Maintain accurate service records, project files, technician notes, and completion reports
● Support invoicing coordination, expense tracking, and time entry verification
● Update CRM, ERP, or service management systems
● Generate internal status reports for leadership review
● Track project costs, labour usage, and service trends
Operational Support
● Support field teams with troubleshooting coordination and escalation management
● Monitor inventory requirements for parts, tools, and consumables
● Assist with process improvements across dispatch, scheduling, and service workflows
● Support compliance with company safety standards and BC workplace requirements
Required Qualifications
● 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, or technical operations
support
● Strong organizational and scheduling abilities
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Comfortable managing multiple priorities and urgent requests
● Strong Microsoft Office and administrative systems proficiency
● High attention to detail and follow-through
Assets
● Experience in the security industry, low-voltage systems, alarm, CCTV, access control, or field service
coordination is a strong asset
● Experience working with technicians, subcontractors, and trades
● Familiarity with service software, CRMs, ERPs, or dispatch platforms
License Requirement
● Must hold a valid BC Security Worker License
● Candidates who do not currently hold a license must be eligible and able to obtain one before their first day of work
Employment Terms
● Temporary fixed-term contract
● Expected term: 8 to 12 months
● Full-time office position
● Monday to Friday
● Additional hours may be required during peak operational periods
● Travel to client sites, supplier locations, and company offices may occasionally be required
● Compensation: $27-$30, based on experience
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
