Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our team Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils in a fast-paced restaurant. Prior experience is not required, but is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary dishware and utensils are available for food service
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep the work area organized and sanitary
- Additional cleaning throughout the restaurant such as mopping and sweeping spills, bathroom checks and etc. may also be required periodically
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliability, and an understanding that this is a pivotal role in the restaurant and attendance and punctuality are of the utmost importance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with physical stamina
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable
Pay: $18.60 per hour
