Landry Psychology is hiring!
We are currently seeking a Psychologist or Provisionally Registered Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor in our south Edmonton office.
We are looking for someone who is excited to build and maintain a thriving caseload of approximately 20-30+ client hours per week. The position offers flexible scheduling, though we are specifically looking for someone who is available for a mix of daytime hours and at least one evening or weekend.
This is who we are:
Landry Psychology is a private practice focused on providing high quality psychological care to individuals from all walks of life in the Edmonton area. We are looking to add a psychologist to our team whose interests and expertise complement those of our existing clinicians.
We value a supportive team environment and want to help you build a career that is customized to your life. In our eyes, a balance between exceptional client care and rest is essential.
We believe the best therapy happens when therapists feel supported too. We love new ideas, encourage our clinicians to develop their own specialties, and genuinely enjoy collaborating with one another. We're looking for someone who wants to contribute to our team—not just rent an office.
We are seeking a psychologist specializing in any of the following areas:
- Autism and ADHD
- Neurofeedback
- 2SLGBTQI+
- Chronic pain
- Assessment
- Child therapy
- Perinatal mental health
- EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, or other body-based therapies
This is how we support our clinicians:
- Competitive pay
- Flexible time off
- A warmly decorated office in south Edmonton, close to major traffic routes and public transportation
- Access to our play therapy room with a sand tray, games, and other play therapy materials
- Monthly team consultation
- Remote administrative staff to support you with billing and scheduling
- We believe in a reduced work week (along with an excellent wage) to help you show up as your best, rested self
- All technology required for digital notes and remote work
- Marketing support to help you build your practice, including a professional website, social media presence, and referrals from our team and community connections
This is who we hire:
- You are a highly ethical therapist with a client-centred approach.
- You strongly value professional development and are committed to becoming an exceptional clinician.
- You show up as your authentic self.
- You are comfortable working independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative team.
- You are excited to build a thriving private practice rather than simply filling a few hours each week.
- You understand that building a caseload is a shared effort and are willing to actively participate in marketing yourself through networking, community involvement, presentations, social media, or other authentic forms of outreach.
- You are motivated, reliable, and take ownership of your practice.
- You are looking for a long-term professional home where you can continue to grow.
Other bonuses:
- Little to no report writing (with the exception of assessment psychologists)
- Therapy dogs in the office
- Online booking and payment system for your clients
- The opportunity to flex your creative muscles and develop new programs, initiatives, and content for our community
If you can see yourself as part of our growing team, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your CV and cover letter to [email protected].
