What will you do?
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for executing and supporting daily receiving and inventory activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. This role requires strong SAP expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure materials are properly received, recorded, and managed within the system. The position plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting operational continuity, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform receiving activities in SAP, including goods receipts and inventory transactions using tools such as MIGO, MB51, and QA32.
- Ensure all incoming materials are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles during the receiving and material handling process.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory and shipment data.
- Support inspection, priority handling, and rejection processes as required.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all receiving and documentation activities.
- Assist with cross-training initiatives and provide backup support to team members when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment in compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Participate in team activities, fostering open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to process improvements and share ideas to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
- Learn and utilize company systems, software, and databases to support receiving and inventory processes.
- Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
What will you need to succeed?
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Equivalent work experience in a receiving or warehouse environment may be considered.
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, specifically in receiving and inventory modules (MIGO, MB51, QA32).
- Understanding of inventory control processes, including FIFO and material handling best practices.
- Ability to interpret and follow operational procedures, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 50,000.00 CAD - $ 60,000.00 CAD, excluding benefits.
