Bradbosh Landscaping and Snow Removal Inc. has an opening for team members for our Landscape construction division. Under the direction of Supervisors you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including landscape construction and the use manual tools as well. We are a COR certified company and believe safety is paramount. 3-5 years Landscape experience is a preferred, with experience with laying paving stone patio's, retaining walls, laying sod, planting trees and operating skid steers and equipment associated with Landscape construction. Basic/Required Qualification
- Valid Driver’s License will be given preference and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
- Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape construction and snow removal
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports
- Strong adherence to Bradbosh safety policies and protocol
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Required Qualifications
- Skid steer and other landscape machinery experience
- Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or construction experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic
- Ability to grade accurately, lay sod, install paving stone and retaining walls and have great eye for detail.
- Valid Class 5 license
- Ability to drive truck and trailer an asset
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
- Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
- Cold weather, on-call during winter months
- Physically Demanding position
- Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
- Repetitive Motions
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 50 - 100 lbs
