Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Yard Manager to support operations at our work site. This role involves maintaining clean, safe, and efficient yard environments, performing general yard work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine yard maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and general upkeep
- Ensure fuel cardlock site is clean, safe, and fully operational at all times
- Monitor site conditions and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
- Assist with minor repairs and coordinate with service providers when necessary
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
- Support inventory checks and basic record-keeping when needed
- Respond to site issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- Previous experience in yard work, facility maintenance, or a similar role preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical or maintenance skills are an asset
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Physically active role, including lifting, walking, and general labor tasks
- Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday
- Able to lift 50lbs and use ladders safely
