The Registered Practical Nurse role is an essential role in the community.
As a Registered Practical Nurse you will:
- Use clinical skills to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care
- Use knowledge and skills to assess, plan and implement nursing care for patients
- Functions well in a leadership role to organize patient care
- Demonstrate knowledge of lifts and transfers
- Uses appropriate assessment tools regarding client’s well-being and care
- Nasogastric Feeding and medicine administration
- Be willing to work permanent shifts between Monday-Sunday (DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS are available)
Requirements:
- You must be eligible to work in Canada
- You must be registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses
- First aid & CPR
- Up to date immunization record and Covid vaccinations
- Vulnerable Sector Check
