- Engaging business, product, operations, PMO, and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
- Documenting business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and traceability artifacts to reduce ambiguity and rework.
- Analyzing current-state processes, identifying gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and designing future-state workflows that support process optimization and automation opportunities.
- Translating business needs into system and technical specifications, including data mapping, interfaces, integrations, reporting requirements, and impacts to upstream and downstream systems.
- Partnering with architects, developers, QA, and delivery teams during design, build, testing, and implementation to clarify requirements and resolve functional gaps.
- Supporting SIT and UAT by defining test scenarios, reviewing test cases, validating expected outcomes, and confirming that delivered solutions meet approved requirements.
- Preparing user guides, training materials, implementation support documentation, and post-implementation enhancement recommendations to enable adoption and continuous improvement.
For this role, you should have:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting technology-enabled process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, documenting BRDs/FRDs, user stories, use cases, process maps, and traceability matrices.
- Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methods, SIT, UAT, change control, and implementation support.
- Experience with data analysis, data mapping, reporting, Excel, SQL, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar requirements and process modeling tools.
- Strong communication, facilitation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is [C$50/hr - C$56/hr on T4]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
