ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Registered Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage services while working collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct patient consultations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal, and sports massage treatments
- Maintain detailed notes and documentation
- Educate clients regarding stretching, mobility, and home care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness and professional standards
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners regarding patient care
- Build and maintain a strong client base
- Comply with professional and ethical standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta
- Active professional liability insurance
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic is an asset
