Will work under the direction of a Principal-Electrical, the Electrical Engineer/Designer will be responsible for electrical design of commercial, institutional and telecommunications projects.

General Duties:
- Working with and preparation of detailed diagrams, plans, drawings, reports and presentations Coordinating, assessing and organizing the work of the various projects
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design the systems required for the various projects
- Liaising closely with other professionals, including architects, structural engineers, contractors, builders, and surveyors
- Attend a range of project, group and technical meetings
- Promoting energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives Review design compliance with relevant Codes and Standards

Qualifications:
- MUST have graduated from an Bachelors of Electrical Engineering in the last 2 years
- MUST have electrical building services engineering experience within consulting environment
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial Safety Codes and Authorities
- Knowledge of drafting practices
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience with current releases
- Focus on Power Systems (Three Phase Machines, Power Engineering)
- Read, write and correspond using the English language
