Copper Park Wellness is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a compassionate and engaging clinician to our team.
We are seeking a credentialed Psychotherapist to join our practice, with an anticipated start date of August/September 2026. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working primarily with children, teens, and young adults, and feels confident supporting these populations across a variety of presenting concerns.
We are particularly interested in clinicians who incorporate creative, developmentally appropriate approaches into their work. Training or experience in play therapy, art-based interventions, music therapy, or other expressive modalities is considered a strong asset.
About the Role
This is an independent contractor position with an intentionally gradual caseload build. The role will begin with approximately 1 day per week of availability, with the opportunity to expand as referrals increase and caseload develops over time.
This is a strong fit for a clinician who values autonomy, warmth, and person-centred care, while also being comfortable working independently within a collaborative private practice environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individual psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults
- Work with clients presenting with a range of concerns including anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem, ADHD, neurodiversity, life transitions, and family-related stressors
- Integrate developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions, including play, creative arts, or experiential approaches where appropriate
- Offer primarily in-person sessions
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Practice in accordance with all relevant professional standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the practice owner and team as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Fully credentialed and registered clinician in good standing with their governing body
- Authorized and competent to provide psychotherapy services in Ontario
- Experience and comfort working with children (approximately ages 6+), teens, and young adults
- Training or experience in play therapy, art therapy, music therapy, or other expressive/creative modalities is an asset
- Strong clinical judgement, professionalism, and ability to work independently
- Warm, engaging interpersonal style with strong communication skills
- Availability for at least one consistent day per week to start, including some after-school or evening hours preferred
