Registered Pharmacy Technician (OCP Registered)
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Minimum 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Fillware pharmacy software is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties of a Registered Pharmacy Technician in accordance with OCP standards and regulations.
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision.
- Prepare and maintain blister packs and other compliance packaging.
- Process prescriptions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage physician orders and prescriptions, including communicating with physician offices and handling incoming calls.
- Coordinate workflow with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Keep the Pharmacy Manager informed of daily operations, workflow, issues, and overall status of the pharmacy.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and policies.
