Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Experience with medical or dental office procedures is a plus, but not mandatory. The Office Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for clients and staff, maintaining professionalism and excellent communication at all times.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support office functions
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial transactions as needed
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently
- Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient or client information and supporting administrative workflows
- Ensure organizational efficiency through effective filing systems and document management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote productivity
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Excellent typing speed, proofreading abilities, and data entry skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Clerical experience in an administrative or medical/dental office setting preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus but not required
Pay: $17.20-$30.12 per hour
