Our company continues to grow rapidly, and we are looking to strengthen our finance team with an experienced Senior Accountant who can manage full-cycle accounting operations and support financial reporting.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong full-cycle accounting experience who can independently manage accounting functions for a growing service-based business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, month-end close processes, and HST compliance. This is a full-time on-site role (Monday to Friday) based in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare and file HST returns
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
- Assist with year-end financial reporting and external accountant requests
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
- Ensure accurate financial records and internal controls
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks and Sage intacct
- Experience working in small to medium-sized companies
- Knowledge of HST, financial close processes, and reconciliations
- Experience with service-based businesses is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience with Service Titan is an added advantage

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
