Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth operation during busy service hours. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently during service hours, ensuring quality and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Support the kitchen team in meal prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to the dining area while maintaining high standards of quality
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks as needed during shifts
- Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is highly desirable

Pay: From $20.33 per hour
