Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Supervisor, the Purchasing Assistant is responsible for supporting the purchasing team and maintaining aspects of the job files.
preparing purchase order requisitions, closing job files, and administrative tasks, including filing.
Responsibilities:
The duties of the Purchasing Assistant include:
- Administrative tasks, including filing.
- Closing job binders for possessions
- Issuing Variance Purchase Orders
Requirements:
- Residential construction exposure
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, with strong planning and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate in a Windows environment
