Job Function Overview
The Jr. Marketing Developer role is an excellent opportunity for growth in a career of Marketing. The Jr. Marketing Developer would execute and assist in all initiatives developed by GINCOR’s Marketing Department. The individual would be responsible for crafting visually appealing digital experiences, from website and print design to interactive marketing materials, photography and videography. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build/create eye-catching graphics for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, social media posts and email campaigns
- Photography and video of all products and services offered by GINCOR
- Create a social media calendar, including schedule and/or publish posts in a timely manner
- Social media monitoring and analytics
- Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with marketing teams
- Create and update gincor.com website graphics and copy
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in Marketing (preferred)
- Proven experience in graphic design with a portfolio showcasing a strong design aesthetic
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Proficient with WordPress, HTML and CSS good to have but not essential
- Self-starter, highly motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to adopt various communications tones and styles to align with established brand marketing content
- Experience with photography and video editing software is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of web development and/or content management platforms is considered an asset (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, WooCommerce, Magento, Craft CMS etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Most of the work will be performed in person at our Marketing Department office located in Newmarket.
Working hours are generally Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm
Occasional travel will be required

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
