This is a 8 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (3 days in-office (potentially will increase to 4 days in future).
Typical Day in Role:
Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Design, configure, and support AJO campaigns, journeys, and API-triggered transactional communications.
- Build and maintain AJO content templates, fragments, offer decisioning, and subscription lists.
- Develop and support scheduled marketing campaigns and audience-based engagement programs.
- Configure journey orchestration and customer engagement workflows.
- Support migration of campaigns and customer communications from Oracle Responsys to AJO.
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Develop and maintain landing pages, redirect pages, forms, and customer-facing digital experiences in AEM.
Migrate email and marketing assets from Responsys to AEM Assets.
- Build AEM forms integrated with internal APIs and backend services.
- Implement solutions using both AEM On-Prem and AEM as a Cloud Service.
Full-Stack Development
- Design and build applications to:
o Receive and process batch/flat-file uploads.
o Configure and manage scheduled jobs.
o Trigger AJO campaigns through APIs and batch processes.
o Maintain audit logging, resiliency, monitoring, and operational controls.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices using Node.js and React.
- Design and implement data persistence and operational reporting using MongoDB.
Integration & Migration
- Integrate enterprise applications with AJO using REST APIs.
- Support migration of existing API consumers from Responsys to AJO.
- Design scalable and secure integration patterns across marketing platforms.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, testing, and production deployment.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing Operations, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and UX teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to estimation, planning, and technical leadership.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to developers and business stakeholders on AJO and AEM best practices.

- 5+ years of recent software engineering and development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- 3+ years of recent development experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) / Adobe Experience Platform
- 5+ years of Strong full-stack development experience using React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- 2+ years of recent experience with Digital asset management (DAM) experience
Nice to have:
- Oracle Responsys platform experience.
- Marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Responsys, or Braze.
- Experience building customer communication and engagement platforms.
- GraphQL
- Data ingestion and audience management solutions

Education:

Candidate Review & Selection
1-2 rounds –
- 1st – MS Teams: 30 minutes – with Hiring Manager
- 2nd – In-person: 30 minutes – with Hiring Manager and Director

Pay: $63.00-$78.00 per hour
