Job Summary
We are seeking a part time motivated and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! As an AZ Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your role is vital in keeping our supply chain moving smoothly, and you’ll be a key player in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and other critical systems, to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with automotive repairs or minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep trucks in top condition
- Verify freight documentation, including manifests and delivery receipts, for accuracy before departure and upon arrival
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, inspections, maintenance activities, and delivery records in compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record minimum 3 years experience , 5+ years preferred
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Able to provide insurance LOE's
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues on the road
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Able to cross the border, speak and write English
- Clean Driving record
