We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and experienced Red Seal Carpenter who takes pride in their work and is looking for long-term employment with opportunities to grow alongside our company.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Layout and frame residential homes, cottages, garages, and additions.
- Install floor systems, walls, roofs, stairs, windows, and doors.
- Complete exterior finishing including siding, soffit, fascia, and decks.
- Perform interior finishing including trim, doors, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
- Work independently or lead a small crew while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Ensure all work meets Ontario Building Code requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Carpenter (Journeyperson) certification.
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of all phases of residential construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence with reliable transportation.
- Own hand tools (power tools are considered an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented.
