The Opportunity
We are currently hiring a full-time Accounting Technician to support our day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of transactional accounting, customer service, and administrative support in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to keep our financial processes running smoothly and accurately.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR)
- Process and prepare electronic, cheque, and credit card payments
- Perform bank, credit card, inventory, and AR/AP reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Monitor, file, and release tax payments to North American governing bodies
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
- Handle incoming customer, dealer, and vendor calls as needed
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team
What We’re Looking For

- Strong verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sage Accounting (or similar software)
- Critical thinking, sound judgment, and common sense
- A warm phone manner and a positive attitude
- Prior accounting or office administration experience (asset)
- Experience with provincial sales tax filings (asset)
Working Conditions
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Work performed on-site in an office environment
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on business needs
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
