Shipping & Inventory Coordinator

Contract
Responsibilities include:
Accurately pick, pack and ship all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt or within established service level time frames demonstrating strong attention to detail
Physically fit - able to consistently lift boxes weighing 35lbs and able to be on feet lifting, bending reaching, following OHS safety guidelines and procedures
Safely operate a Reach Truck and other material handling equipment in a controlled Warehouse environment, using PPE
Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
Customer service focused
Able to problem solve and use sound judgement
Ability to use strong verbal and written communication skills when communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task; and adapt to changing workloads and priorities
Strong computer skills being able to type accurately type at least 35 wpm
Possess strong attention to details accurately enter in numbers into databases recording sequence ranges
Proficiency with data entries and ability to locate information in databases
Maintain and update 'Shipping Manager' database and MOVES daily for details about every shipment, strong attention to detail is required. (accurately recording way bill numbers, number of parcels, date shipped, serialized ranges and special instructions for every order)
Coordinate bulk distribution of orders as required
Receive stock, verify quantities received and provide packing slip and copies of the materials to the Senior Customer Service Advisor for receiving within 24 hours of receipt of product being delivered
Inventory management and warehouse organization including stock replenishments on a regular basis and rotation of stock in a FIFO rotation
Participate in the Warehouse OHS Joint Health and Safety Committee, and conduct warehouse safety inspections

Working Hours/location:
Standard Hours of work are 8:15 to 4:30 with a 1 hour lunch break Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the Province.

Standard Background check required.
The Supplier shall, prior to commencement of the Services, provide the Province, on its request and at no cost to the Province, with criminal record checks level 1 that needs to be completed by the Edmonton Police Services or RCMP.
Must also provide a valid driver's license, in good standing order.
