Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. This role is essential in creating a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and experience in custodial or commercial cleaning. Prior experience in cleaning services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures (nice-to-have)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward clients and team members
